'UCB Albania' is an affiliate of UCB International.  Presently we translate and distribute the well known and popular daily devotional 'The Word For Today'.

 

The Project is run by Leslie Wright in the UK, translation is done by Edrin Gjoni a native Albanian.

 

The project was initiated in 2002 with the first edition of the Word for Today printed in Romania by the SEER organisation. They printed the first editons in Albanian and David McGuire drove all the way from Romania to Albania (which in itself was an adventure especially when it came to dealing with guards at border crossings) to deliver them.

 

We currently print and distribute 3000 books with some going to Kosovo, Italy, Corfu and the UK.

 

Recently we have produced four popular titles by Bob Gass:

 

'A Better Marriage', 'Conquering Worry', 'Breaking Habits' and 'The Winning Life'

 

We would like to continue to produce more books in Albanian that would build and equip individuals, churches and comunities.
